You don’t have to be Persian to love ash reshteh

Jasmin Foster isn’t of Persian descent, but after living in Atlanta for three years, she now marks life’s big moments with Persian food. She celebrates birthdays with a reservation at Rumi’s Kitchen. Friends visiting her from out of town? An order of lamb kabobs for the table, please.

“If someone says Rumi’s isn’t good, I am not sure I can trust their food judgement—mostly joking, but not really,” she said.
