When you dig into the legacy of Charlotte’s food world, you can’t miss the distinctively Greek flavor and history. Charlotte’s oldest restaurants are mostly family-owned and family-operated, and those family names are almost always Greek.

Those names haven’t vanished from the restaurant scene. For example, just a few weeks ago, TFS:CLT hosted its launch partyat Stylus, the cocktail lounge and listening-room offshoot of Soul Gastrolounge. True to co-owner Andy Kastanas’ roots, the menu leans Greek, and he and his wife and co-owner, Lesa, know exactly how to stage a proper party.
