Farm Dogs is a country-road food truck devoted to hot dogs. Proprietor and chef Beth Burrell bases everything she makes on a Nathan’s all-beef frank, boiled taut. For 75 cents extra, she will split and grill one. Grilling lessens plumpness but adds crunch and creates a rugged surface that invites condiments to cling.

Customers can choose from among all the standard garnishes or pay extra for such deluxe options as bacon, ham, chili, pulled pork, and fresh avocado. Unusual available toppings include Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, grilled pineapple, kimchi, smoked Gouda cheese, peanut butter, and grape jelly.
