If you’ve kept close tabs on this newsletter’s growth, you’ll recall that The Food Section in March announced the impending opening of two North Carolina bureaus, staffed by full-time food journalists dedicated to rooting out under-told stories and explaining why they matter. Since I’m sure you’ve been eager to put a name, face, and biscuit (read on) with the job title, I’m pleased to report our Durham-based writer is now on board. Lena Geller, take it away!
