When I interviewed Jasmine Williamson about Tea Rose, her five-year-old luxury tea party business, we met in the windowless basement room of a co-working space in Nashville’s Sylvan Park neighborhood. The walls were concrete, the floors were scuffed, and the stackable black chairs were designed for corporate anonymity.
