It’s nearly time to nestle all snug in our beds

It occurred to me recently that even though people in my social circles are generally enthusiastic about trying out dishes from across space and time, I don’t know anyone who takes an eclectic approach to sleep. When’s the last time you heard about someone buying a Lithuanian bed or knocking off for a Zimbabwean nap?

After briefly considering that puzzler, I realized that if rest was on my mind, it might be about time for a break. Those of you who have received and read all 32 editions of this newsletter since it launched on Sept. 15 could probably use a breather too.
