You don’t just show up for a meal at Riserva 1895 any more than you would spontaneously drop in at some strangers’ house and ask them to feed you. Visiting this restaurant is not a spur-of-the-moment decision. Nor is it cheap. A meal for two easily can cost $250.
You must call and speak to one of the proprietors, Andrea Cerofolini or chef Cecilia Lezzani, and find a mutually agreeable date. There is just one seating per night, and the dining room accommodates only 20 people. Securing a reservation can be difficult.
