I first drank Grapico by accident.

In 1984, I had just immigrated from Damascus, Syria to study at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I immediately fell in love with all-American eats like apple pie, hamburgers, biscuits—how did I live for 18 years without biscuits? —and my all-time favorite to this day, mac-and-cheese.
