Bars across South shift away from team trivia

I recently had a revelation over a patty melt. Sitting at Brewhouse 100, a sports bar in Nashville’s Bellevue neighborhood, I realized I might never finish my meal. Every 20 seconds or so, I would join the entire room in a singalong to an ‘80s or ‘90s pop hit—and when you’re that busy singing, eating takes a backseat.

That was the point, though. My friend and I were there to play music bingo, a jukebox-inflected version of bingo that’s rapidly becoming the dominant new force in the pub trivia ecosystem. I had seen so many spots in Nashville offering it that I finally decided to try it for myself.
