Among the characteristics of Macaroni Mania is those afflicted with it don’t stop at cheese.

“I’ve seen desserts where they slipped in macaroni,” says Sue Pantano, director of business development for The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, which yearly puts on the Macaroni Mania fundraiser.
