After too many years working in restaurants, Denise “Niecy” Whitworth said she was done with food service. In 2019, following a quarter century in Texas, she moved to Benton, Arkansas, where her nephew was opening a string of businesses.

Scott Elliot, who has leaned on his levelheaded aunt for emotional support and homecooked meals since he was little, put her in charge of his new bike shop.
