To find some of Music City’s best bagels, you need to visit a Chinese restaurant in East Nashville. But keep in mind that the Chinese restaurant doesn’t have bagels on its menu.
This is not a riddle. It’s just that TKO, the Chinese restaurant, also hosts Mr. Aaron’s Goods, which makes bagels, pasta, and sauces. TKO is only open for dinner, so every Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the early afternoon, the team at Mr. Aaron’s uses TKO’s equipment to prepare its weekly supply. Customers can pop in to buy a bagel and eat it at the very same table where they enjoyed a plate of bourbon chicken fried rice the night before.
